Review Methodology

This page explains how we select tools for coverage, how we evaluate them, and how we present our findings.

Tool selection

Tools are included based on relevance to EU multichannel ecommerce sellers. We prioritise tools with meaningful EU marketplace coverage (Kaufland, Amazon EU, OTTO, Allegro, eBay DE/UK), tools with EU or UK-based operations or support, and tools that are actively used by sellers in the European market.

Having an affiliate program is not a requirement for inclusion. Tools without affiliate programs appear in our comparisons when they are relevant to the category.

Evaluation criteria

Each tool is evaluated across the following dimensions:

  • EU marketplace coverage — which marketplaces are natively supported vs. requiring middleware
  • Pricing — entry price, scaling cost, and what is included at each tier
  • Integration depth — whether connectors are native or require third-party middleware
  • Best-fit profile — the seller size and operational complexity each tool suits
  • Known limitations — honest assessment of where each tool falls short

Pricing accuracy

Pricing is gathered from vendor websites and public sources at the time of writing. SaaS pricing changes frequently. All pricing shown is indicative — always verify current pricing directly with the vendor before making a purchasing decision. Each page shows a last-updated date.

Affiliate relationships

Some tools on this site have affiliate programs that we participate in. Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial rankings or recommendations. See our affiliate disclosure for full details.

Updates

Each page is reviewed and updated when significant changes occur — new pricing, new marketplace connectors, product shutdowns, or major feature changes. The last-updated date at the top of each page reflects the most recent review.
